Accessibility in Graphic Design: Lessons I have learnt.
“How accessible is my design?” That’s a question I’ve recently added to my design checklist. Adding it has made all the difference in ensuring my work is inclusive for everyone — even those who experience the world differently due to visual impairments or blindness. (PS: Visual impairment and blindness aren’t the same thing; it’s something I learned along the way.)
The biggest question is always, How does a visually impaired person experience my design? It sounds impossible at first, because how do you design for someone who can’t fully see it or see it at all?
